Mission Statement
La Vida Laguna is a spirit embodied by the people fortunate enough to call Laguna Beach home. You can't live or visit here without being affected by its profound natural beauty. This is a place where the coastal breeze, smell of the ocean, gorgeous vistas and sunsets put a spring in people's step, where they regularly remark to each other, "wasn't today amazing?"
La Vida Laguna was launched in 2002 to share the outdoor, aquatic adventures that were previously inaccessible to all but a few. Being in a natural playground, we're all about fun things to do in Southern California. Whether it's paddling into hidden coves, snorkeling secret reefs, surfing our epic swells, biking our coastal wilderness or scenic beach strands, or even drumming on the beach around a bonfire, you'll return renewed, transformed, and invigorated by all nature has to offer.
Everything we do is environmental. It’s in our DNA. We don’t use motors or gas. We believe in the power of the people. We don’t litter. We have or leave no permanent structures. We clean up behind and around us. In short, we love nature and the ocean, and not only seek to preserve it, but also seek to enhance it by educating the public on becoming better ocean stewards and environmental evangelists.

What people are saying:
"During our annual Global Leadership Meetings, which was held in Newport Beach in January, 2009, we had the pleasure of working together with Billy Fried of La Vida Laguna and his team.
The preparations leading up to the event confronted us with several challenges, since we wanted to hold the outdoor part of our activity in Crystal Cove State Park, California, and faced many restrictions and authorizations from the State of California. Billy administered these obstacles in a professional way, so we enjoyed both the afternoon and the BBQ in an amazing atmosphere.
The provision and allocation of drinks and food flowed smoothly, and the mouths of those watching the meals being prepared watered well in advance.
Billy and his team managed to integrate tents and tables into the landscape in such a way as to provide a nice outlook over the breathtaking scenery of the California Coast. Nobody who was thee will soon forget that sunset.
The highlight of the evening, however, was the group "Jasso & Garcia," whom we hired on Billy's recommendation. We closed the evening with standing ovations at what was a truly unforgettable occasion. We continued to receive thank-you emails from participants even weeks after the event.
In view of all this, hearty thanks to Billy and his team! If we ever plan an event in California, we could only consider Billy of La Vida Laguna!"

“All of our folks had a great time mountain biking and as you could see – the drum circle was a huge success! All those type A personalities really got into the beat.”

“With La Vida Laguna’s eco-kayak tours, you can count on one thing: the best natural mood elevator in town from a work-out you can taste, touch, hear, smell and see that leaves you pleasantly pooped but ready to ride the tide anytime soon.”
The Laguna Beach Independent
“While paddling there was much laughter, conversation and camaraderie among the kayakers. Time seemed to evaporate. ‘It was the perfect antidote to no sun,’ said Laguna visitor Mario Madero. ‘It’s much prettier than the golf.’”
