Back Roads Laguna Eco Bike Tour

Do you want to see what makes Laguna the most beautiful beach community in California? Come check out our charming neighborhoods, bucolic canyons and vast open space known as our green belt. Our back roads bike tours are informative, scenic, invigorating and safe! We never ride Pacific Coast Highway and instead navigate the quaint and historic neighborhoods rarely seen by tourists.

Bike Tours in Laguna Beach

Our standard tour takes 2 hours and is the perfect loop, covering canyons, north and south neighborhoods, the downtown village, view promontories, and much more. You’ll learn about how Transition Laguna (part of the global Transition Town movement) has planted edible gardens throughout the community to create a local, sustainable food source; how Bluebird Organic Farms is changing the rules of residential farming; how zero emission homes; grey water, solar and compost systems help the planet while saving money. We depart from our downtown bike garage on state-of-the-art 21 speed Diamondback mountain bikes.

Here are some of the highlights:

From the North: From the 405 or 5 Freeways, take the 133 (Laguna Canyon Road) west to Laguna. At the dead-end go left on Pacific Coast Highway, travel a half mile to Thalia St, go left. 1st right is Glenneyre St. We are one block on the right – a small 2 story green cottage with a parking lot out front. Look for the orange kayak sticking up. If you are coming from Newport, just continue south on PCH until you reach Thalia

From the South: Take Pacific Highway north into Laguna Beach. After Brooks and Oak Street is Anita. Go right on Anita and make the 1st left onto Glenneyre St. We are just on the left. Park and come in.
