Drum Circles

If you're lucky enough to be here on a full moon, come to a free Laguna community drum circle on the beach!

We drum at Aliso State Beach from 7 - 10pm, every full moon, complete with bonfire.

If you have a drum, great. If not, don't worry, There's always extras. However, extra wood will instantly ingratiate you.

Aliso Beach is a few miles south of downtown Laguna on PCH, just past the Montage Resort and opposite Aliso Creek Golf Course. We meet at the south end. Just have a listen and you'll find us.

Group Teambuilding Drum Circles

Group drumming has grown tremendously as a team and morale building activity. There is perhaps no better metaphor for the concept of teamwork then making music. And the amazing thing about drumming is everyone can participate, regardless of musical ability or talent. As long as you have a heartbeat, you have rhythm.

Or professional drum circle facilitators have worked with scores of Fortune 500 companies to help make their Orange County retreat a memorable experience. We’ve drummed with 10 people, and with 500. We drum on beaches, bluffs, golf courses, ballrooms, and on hotel grounds. We bring the drums, seating, sometimes build a bonfire, and lead your group in an hour-long percussion performance that will have everyone smiling, dancing and grooving to the beat. And everyone participates, whether they play a large bass drum, medium conga or djembe, or a hand percussion instrument like a bell, shaker, or sticks. They will learn a variety of culturally specific drum beats, including African, Latin and funk.

Find out what so many companies already know: drumming is an exciting and fun activity for self-expression and a unique experiential approach to team building. Toyota Motor Cars of America is so enamored with drumming they installed a drum room in their Torrance headquarters. Drum circles are about groups working together to create something bigger than individual performance. We emphasize the similarities to a well run business enterprise, where everyone has a role, and works in concert to ensure optimal performance. Whether you want kick off or end your conference with a bang, kick-up your day, or even communicate a business or strategic theme to your group, there is no better way than the recreational drumming experience.
