Experience Docent Led interpretive or cardio hikes of some of the last coastal wilderness in Southern CA.
Dartmoor Loop: This is a strenuous, intermediate hike with a substantial climb from sea level to a ridge in Laguna Coast Wilderness park. Along the way you will enjoy spectacular coastal views, and experience one of the last remaining coastal wildernesses. While not technical, this climb is shadeless and can be arduous and is not for those looking for a leisurely stroll.
Laurel Canyon: This is an easier, intermediate hike in the heart of the Laguna Coast Wilderness Park. It is a loop with a slighter elevation gain than Dartmoor, more shade canopies of Oak and Sycamore groves, and fanatastci views of the area coastal ranges, including Saddleback Mountain to the east, and Catalina island to the west.
Crystal Cove Tidepool: For those looking for an easier stroll, try our 3 mile beach walk along Crystal Cove State Park. Our wilderness docent will show you the tidepools and the many sea creatures that inhabit them, as well as the famous bluffs, and even the historic beach colony.
Other hikes include Crystal Cove, South Laguna, and Laguna Coast Wilderness.
